The OLIE  helmet’s shell casing is made from an impact modified polyamide - Polyamide products are crystalline engineering thermoplastics well-suited to applications requiring toughness and strength,  temperature and abrasion resistance - thermoplastic recognized worldwide for its extreme strength and durability.  The polyamide used on OLIE masks is also used in the aerospace industry and auto industry.

 

· The shell casing offers the largest optical opening of all masks currently on the market without sacrificing proven strength and durability.

· Masks are equipped with a nylon-coated steel cage that will not crack, blister or peel.

· Olie masks are equipped with a 5/8” shock-absorbent vinyl nitryle foam padding that has passed rigorous impact testing.

· Designed with the most recent ASTM standards that go in effect Jan 1, 1998.

· Masks are available in  standard colors as well as customized artistic renderings.

· All paints are water-based and offer 99% gloss ratio.  Mask clearing-coating is done by means of a flexible two-component material.

· Extremely lightweight with a one year limited warranty.

· Masks are assembled with rust proof stainless steel screws and clips to avoid staining.

· All masks are equipped with adjustable straps and adjustable chin-ups and removable sweatbands, designed to channel sweat away and improve hygiene.

· All masks include LOCTITE brand fasteners to ensure proper fitting.
