RIM - Specially designed molded graphite braid
system for reduced weight, improved strength, improve resistance, corrosion resistance and
vibration dampening. Rim is bonded internally to face sheets to provide KEVLAR braking
service. Lateral rim tolerance +/- .025 in. Concentric within .030 in. ADHESIVE SYSTEM - Specially formulated two part adhesive system designed for improved resiliency and impact resistant based upon advanced aerospace formulations. TENSIONED KEVLAR FACE SHEETS - High modulus KEVLAR (aramid fibers), is extremely strong and tough. This patented process involves tensioning of multi-layer individually oriented face sheets which are different for road and track versions. Tension process permanently establishes trueness and dishing. KEVLAR provides superior resistance to damage from fatigue, vibration and impact. KEVLAR externally bonded for superior braking surface. KEVLAR tensile strength is 10 in. x 1,000,000. Tested per resin, impregnated strand test (ASM D2343). HUB ASSEMBLY - Proprietary design. Manufactured utilizing heat treated light aluminum alloy (2024 T-3). Sealed bearing system. Hub is lightweight aluminum extrusion. Conventional threaded cro-moly axle. Thread size is 1.370-24 unified national standard, GR3A English (Japanese). WARRANTY - One year conditional warranty on all materials and workmanship.
